Responsible Drinking Commitment

Our commitment

Whan Amador Prestige Group produces, sells and serves wine through its wine house, Whan Amador Vineyards & Wines. We want every bottle we sell to be enjoyed well: slowly, with food, in good company, and never at the expense of anyone's health or safety. Wine is only enjoyed in moderation. El vino solo se disfruta con moderación.

Supporter of Wine in Moderation

We are an official supporter of Wine in Moderation, the international programme of the wine sector that promotes moderate and responsible wine consumption as part of a healthy lifestyle. Wine in Moderation is a registered trademark of Wine in Moderation – Art de Vivre AISBL, based in Belgium. In Spain the programme is coordinated by the Federación Española del Vino (FEV).

  • Supporter certificate issued on 27 October 2026 to our wine house, registered with the programme as WHAN AMADOR Vineyards and Fine Wines, and signed by the President of Wine in Moderation.
  • Trademark licence agreement with FEV dated 24 October 2026, under the Wine in Moderation rules of use and style guide and the Spanish wine sector's self-regulation code for advertising and commercial communications.

The Wine in Moderation logo on our website links to the programme's own website, as its rules require, so that anyone can read about the programme at its source.

Choose | Share | Care

These three words are the programme's message, and we apply them to how we work.

  • Choose. Make an informed choice about whether to drink, what and how much. We give clear information on every wine, including its alcoholic strength, purely as information.
  • Share. Wine belongs at the table, with food, water and good company. That is how we present it, and how we serve it.
  • Care. Look after yourself and the people around you. Do not drink if you are driving, under age or pregnant, and know the drinking guidelines.

How we present and sell wine

We follow the Spanish wine sector's Code for Wine Commercial Communications. In practice this means:

  • Visitors are asked to confirm they are 18 or over before they can view our wine pages.
  • We do not sell, supply or serve wine to anyone under 18, and we may ask for proof of age before an order is handed over.
  • Our wine pages and wine communications, including social media, carry the Wine in Moderation logo and a moderation message.
  • We never aim our wine communications at minors, or use images, styles or characters designed to appeal to them.
  • We never encourage excessive drinking, or suggest that wine brings social, professional or sexual success.
  • We never link wine with driving, sport, dangerous activities or work, other than work in the wine trade itself.
  • We make no health claims for wine, and never present a higher alcohol content as a virtue.

When not to drink

Choosing not to drink is always a good choice. Do not drink alcohol if you are under 18; if you are pregnant, trying to become pregnant or breastfeeding; if you are going to drive or operate machinery; at work; or if you are taking medicines or have a health condition that alcohol may affect. If in doubt, ask your doctor or pharmacist.

At our tastings and events

Wine is offered with food and water, in tasting measures. When guests have been drinking, we encourage them to arrange a driver or a taxi home, and we are glad to help book one.
